Getting there

Situated in Kisoro district, Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge is accessible via road or air transportation. The road journey from Kampala or Entebbe typically takes around 10 hours, while it is a 3-4 hour drive from Kigali. Alternatively, for those choosing air travel, Aerolink provides daily flights from various locations in Uganda, including Entebbe, Kajjansi, and Queen Elizabeth National Park, to Kisoro airstrip. The flight from Entebbe International Airport or Kajjansi airstrip to Kisoro lasts approximately one and a half hours, followed by a 40-minute drive to reach the lodge.
