This policy explains what personal information Kamere Tours & Travel (“we”, “us”) collects through kameretours.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. We are a tour operator based in Kisoro, Uganda. If you have any questions, contact us at info@kameretours.com or +256 702 360824.
Information you give us
When you use our contact or safari planning forms, or contact us by email or WhatsApp, we receive the details you choose to share, such as your name, email address, phone number, country, travel dates, group size and any preferences or special requests. We use this information only to reply to your enquiry, prepare quotes and itineraries, make bookings such as park permits and accommodation, and communicate with you about your trip.
Form submissions are sent to our team by email. When you book, we may need passport details to secure gorilla and other park permits, as required by the wildlife authorities. We share your details only with the parties needed to deliver your trip, such as Uganda Wildlife Authority, Rwanda Development Board, lodges and transport partners, and never sell your information.
Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We use the following categories:
- Essential: needed for the website to work and to remember your cookie choices. These are always on.
- Analytics (optional): Google Analytics 4 helps us understand which pages are visited and how the site is used, so we can improve it. These cookies are only set if you accept analytics. Without consent, Google may receive limited, cookieless signals as part of Google Consent Mode.

How long we keep information
We keep enquiry and booking information for as long as needed to respond to you, deliver your trip and meet our legal and accounting obligations, and then delete it. Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics settings.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including under Uganda’s Data Protection and Privacy Act and, for visitors from Europe, the GDPR, you may have the right to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, to object to or restrict its use, and to withdraw consent at any time. Security
Our website uses HTTPS encryption, and we take reasonable measures to protect the information you share with us. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please avoid sending sensitive information such as card numbers by email.
